SDC is a college-preparatory school. Our goal is to offer students access to an education which will prepare them for successful entry into college.  A lot of hard work will be required, but it is worth it: The bottom line is that a college education will give students more options and greater earning power for your future.  According to the New York State Department of Education, the median income of individuals with a Bachelors degree is nearly double that of individuals with a High School diploma only and almost 2 and ½ times more than individuals with no High School diploma.  Looking at this information and thinking about the future, it is important to ask yourself: “Can I afford not to take my education seriously?”
